We have a Wicks & Wilson body scanner available to provide very high quality, realistic meshes. The scanning is completed in ten seconds and captures three hundred and sixty degrees in full colour. However, some clean-up is required for each mesh that is produced.

Stripes of normal white light are used to capture the 3D shape of the person. The light is harmless and contains no invisible rays, lasers or other radiation.

Many uses can be made of this technology. One service that we provide could be to motion capture a person and apply their own body scan to the motion.

The meshes are of such high quality and sometimes has to be reduced in the number of polygons to fit the task at hand.
