SceneStealer

3D Models from Photos

Based on a unique concept developed by researchers at the Universities of California Berkeley and Edinburgh, SceneStealer is a new product to help designers and planners rapidly create 3D models of built environments from photos. It is funded by the Scottish Executive POC.

The technology will make huge savings for companies developing visual simulation content or those working in entertainment and media.

So, whatever your 3D modeling requirements, SceneStealer enables you to reconstruct existing 3D environments quickly and easily, whilst integrating with current 3D tools.

Potential Uses Include visual simulation content e.g. driving and flight simulators, security and training systems, urban planning, surveying and architectural visualisation, entertainment and media previsualisation in film, TV, commercials and special effects, computer games.
